Weekend In Island Park

I spent the weekend in Island Park with some great ladies from my neighborhood! From left going around the table Christy, Julie, April (her cabin) Carma and Marci. We had soo much fun and soooooo much FOOD!!! Can you think of anything better, scrapping, giggling and eating great food for 2 days in a great cabin far from all interruptions. I can't wait to do it again!

WHO SAID I LOVE YOU FIRST: I don't even remember (after 15 years the brain forgets a few details)
WHO IS TALLER: Definitely Jeff
WHO SINGS BETTER: I guess that would be me because Jeff NEVER sings unless it is in the shower
WHO'S SMARTER: No problem there, Jeff kicks my tail!!!
WHO SLEEPS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BED: From what angle? From the footboard up..I sleep in the right, while lying in bed, he's on the right, I'm so easily confused
WHO MOWS THE LAWN: Usually Jeff but we are trying to train Kaden and Kenzie too

Snow Day

Posted by Picasa

I've been tagged!

A: The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.

B: Each player answers the questions about themselves.

C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 3 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

10 Years Ago:

1. We were living in our new house in Layton, UT hearing the roar of the jets all day and all night long!

2. I was pregnant and on bed rest with Kaden.

3. Kenzie was 2 1/2

4. Jeff was working for Arthur Anderson in SLC, didn't like that commute!

Things on my to-do list today:

1. My list changed when it became our first SNOW DAY of the season.

2. Stay inside because the drifts have closed us in.

3. Make beds, clean upstairs bathrooms, vacuum main floor, fold laundry, iron....YUCK!

4. Make cookies with the kids.

5. Don't let Kaden play video games all day long.

6. Don't let Kenzie watch TV all day long.

7. Make kids do their chores.

8. Watch a movie with the kids and eat popcorn.

What I would do if I were suddenly made a billionaire:

1. Like everyone else I would pay off our house.

2. Buy Jeff's parents a new house with a garage.

3. Take our kids on a Disney Cruise.

4. Jeff and I would go to Italy.

5. Buy tickets to the US Open for Jeff and then golfing trips wherever he wants.

6. Put a Sport Court in our backyard and finish our landscaping without thinking about the cost.

7. Give a large portion to help out our favorite charities.

3 of my bad habits:

1. Being too worried about what people think about me...hence my perfectionistic attitude.

2. Putting off the ironing until Jeff decides he'd better iron if he wants anything to wear to work.

3. Eating too much junk food and not exercising.

3 places I have lived:

1. Logan, UT

2. Layton, UT

3. Burley, ID

5 jobs I have had:

1. Western Wats ( how long did you last Steph?) I made it till my first paycheck!

2. Receptionist for a chiropractor

3. Juniper Inn in Smithfield, UT

4. Juniper Take Out in Logan, UT

5. Reflections Salon in Rexburg

5 things people don't know about me:

1. I love wearing pajamas to bed

2. I still bite my fingernails if I don't have sometype of hard nail over them

3. I am scared of heights

4. I don't let my kids help me fold clothes because I like them done a certain way, big shocker huh?

5. I've had brain surgery twice and I often worry it has changed my personality and the way things affect me.

I tag:

1. Julie

2. Emily

3. Lana

Okay Sarah, since you asked....

Kenzie is beautiful and Kaden is crazy! Kaden dressed up in Conners new Jack Sparrow costume and got a little crazy for the camera. They are both doing very well since the move but Kaden still really misses all his friends A LOT!!!!! Feel free to send them over for a weekend whenever! Really!

I can hardly believe that my baby is 4 years old! It seems like just yesterday we were watching the Super Bowl and decided it was time to go to the hospital.

So Glad You Came

Friday night the Mallory's, the Masoners and the Farfan's came to Idaho Falls to go to the Glen Beck benefit at the Civic Auditorium. Adria insisted (just kidding A) that we eat at Texas Roadhouse but since they had an hour wait for a table for 8, we just did two tables of 4. The girls table and the boys table. Our food was great....Jarrod's steak was not! Sorry Jarrod, we really enjoyed it. Then we went to the benefit which was GREAT! I have a whole new appreciation for Glen Beck. He was super! Then after the event we went to Chili's for Molten Lava Cake...did you know they have a white chocolate one was DIVINE!!!! I may have to go get another one this week! Great evening, Great friends!
