How About That Swine Flu?
So, I know the swine flu is becoming a real problem but I can't seem to get too rattled about it! It's the flu! It sucks to be sick but is it really worth all the press coverage and scares in the school? I'm not wishing this on anyone and I feel terrible for anyone who gets it but the media makes it sound like Anthrax or something! Keep washing your hands, eat your fruits and veggies and stay home if you're sick! Just my 2 cents worth! (Not worth much!!!)

Ya, it's way blown up by the media, but IS making some people very sick, very quick. Especially pregnant women.
If people would just stay home when they're sick. Livs is high risk if she does get it. Luke picked it up at school and now it's in the house. What do ya do? Hopefully somehow she'll avoid it. Although she and her brother were real buddy-buddy cause he didn't have enough strength to tease her.
I took Carson in a couple of weeks ago (I knew he had the flu, but HE thought he was going to die...and requested the doctor...) he said that over 65% of those tested were positive for Swine flu. Yes, it's hrrible, but come on. okay, I'm done...oh, wait, people, please leave your sick kids home from church :)
I am SO with you on this one!
I know it's crazy to hear all the controversy! I got the shot but who knows if it will even help.
